More about Denver's LoHi Neighborhood
Style of Homes for Sale in LoHi: LoHi has a very unique mix of homes. As of recent, there has been an influx of duplex and single family ultra-modern homes with amenities, like rooftop decks, due to the area's fantastic views of downtown Denver. In contrast, the northwest side of LoHi also contains a historic district called Potter Highlands where new construction and renovation is highly regulated. No matter the style though, homes are very dense due to the historic and present demand of this fantastic area.
Things to Do in LoHi: One of the most attractive aspects of LoHi is the fact that there are fantastic restaurants and shops sprinkled throughout the entire neighborhood, resulting in an extremely walkable area.
- 32nd & Zuni St. – You'll find a great mix of hipsters, moms with strollers, and biking commuters in this beautiful historic square. Its popularity is primarily due to a few great restaurants: Gallop Cafe, Wooden Spoon and Duo, a consistently highly-ranked restaurant that offers eclectic food and atmosphere.
- Tejon St. & Boulder St. – Linger, Little Man Ice Cream, LoHi Athletic Club, Goldyn boutique....and the list goes on. Not surprisingly, B bike, Denver's bike sharing program, has a station on the corner. Our tip: head to Linger's 2nd floor bar to enjoy a drink and the breath-taking views of the Denver skyline.
- Central St. – This area has seen tremendous growth in the past few years due to it's views of downtown Denver and proximity to the Highlands Bridge, a pedestrian overpass that connects LoHi to Riverfront and LoDo. Ale House at Amato's, Masterpiece Delicatessen, and Central Bistro are all worth a try.
- 32nd & Vallejo St. - Stop by one of LoHi's staples, Highland Tap & Burger, for a craft beer and one of Denver's best burgers. Uncle, Laughing Latte, and Inspyre Boutique are notable as well.
Boundaries: The boundaries for LoHi are 38th Avenue to the North and Speer Boulevard to the South, Platte St to the East and Zuni Street to the West.
