History of Polo Club Neighborhood: The Polo Club neighborhood has long been seen as one of Denver's most elite neighborhoods. According to The History Colorado Museum, in 1947, the landowners of Polo Club Place established the “Polo Club Place Declaration of Plan for Development of Residential District” aiming to solidify the area as one of Denver's most upscale residential areas. The area now known as Polo Club Place was purchased in 1921 to house the first polo club in Denver. Shortly after that, landowners began building houses on this land and, after the club closed in 1936, large plots of property were sold. Years later, the residents created the Polo Club Homeowners Association in 1946 and the neighborhood continues to have a strong HOA to this day.

- Cherry Creek Shopping District - Across Cherry Creek Drive South lies the indoor Cherry Creek Shopping Center and the outdoor Cherry Creek North shopping district complete with high-end restaurants and luxury shopping.
- Bonnie Brae Shops - To the South-West corner of the Polo Club neighborhood are the shops of Bonnie Brae that offer a great ice cream shop, popular restaurants, boutique shops, and a public library.
- Cherry Creek Trail - On the northern boundary of the Polo Club neighborhood lies the Cherry Creek Trail which runs for 24 miles from LoDo to Douglas County.
Boundaries: The boundaries for the Polo Club neighborhood are University Boulevard to the West, Alameda to the North, South Steele Street to the East and Exposition Avenue to the South.
