Also known as the River North Art District, RiNo is one of Denver’s newest and fastest growing downtown neighborhoods. Located in the old industrial and warehouse section of Northern Downtown, RiNo has a lively, urban, artistic vibe. With a combination of new live/work loft spaces, warehouse conversion art studios, cafes, shops and restaurants, continues to evolve. Due to its industrial history, few homes are original, but you will find countless new construction homes, many of which modern townhomes, lofts, condos and mixed use buildings.

Style of Homes for Sale in RiNo: Until recently, housing options were very limited in RiNo.  This is changing very rapidly though as new condo, apartment, renovated lofts, and town home buildings are popping up throughout.  You'll also spot a small, original Victorian or bungalow home, but as RiNo has primarily been an industrial area, these historic homes are rare.

New Construction Options in RiNo: New construction projects are happening on just about every corner in RiNo.  Most of the new construction homes come in the form of large apartment buildings or multi-unit town homes.  The style is modern and trendy, matching the style of the neighborhood as a whole.  If you are interested in a single-family or duplex home instead of a condo or loft, LoHi, Berkeley, Sunnyside, and Uptown are great nearby neighborhoods that offer these types of homes.

Things to Do in Denver's RiNo Neighborhood:

  • The Source – The Source opened its doors in 2013, bringing a much needed one-stop-shop, market-style spot for foodies in Denver. Utilizing a meticulously renovated 19th-century steel foundry, The Source houses local brewers, bakers, butchers, specialty grocers and more.  When it debuted, it was seen as a risk as the RiNo area was still under developed when compared to neighboring LoDo, The Highlands and other more established neighborhoods. Since then, the RiNo has officially arrived, with new housing options, restaurants, and office buildings popping up all the time.  Stop by The Source for a tasty sour beer from Crooked Stave and stay for dinner at Acorn, one of Denver's top rated restaurants.
  • TAXI - Located right off the Platte River, Taxi is a mixed use building filled with creativity and energy.  Over 80 businesses call Taxi home, all of which chose this unique space in order to collaborate with others and find inspiration.  The Taxi campus is made up of eight buildings and offers countless amenities designed to keep the community connected: a fitness center, restaurant, coffee shop, breakfast & lunch counter, salon, early childhood education center, makers studio, outdoor cinema, and community garden.  Taxi is truly a unique place.  
  • First Friday -  Neighborhoods throughout Denver host a First Friday event focused around the areas local artists, restaurants and stores.  It's not a surprise that First Fridays in RiNo (also known as River North Arts District) have a funky, inspiring feel, with countless local art galleries, small breweries, and local restaurants.

Boundaries: The boundaries for RiNo are I-70 to the North, I-25 to the West, Park Avenue West to the South, and Arapahoe Street to the East.
