More about Edgewater

Style of Homes for Sale in Edgewater: The style of home in Edgewater is evolving as we speak.  Until recently, it was nearly all small, low-cost homes.  While most homes still fall into this category, new construction homes are beginning to pop up, especially on the streets closest to the 25th Ave Historic Business District.  Renovations to existing homes are also becoming more common as the city continues to get new restaurants and other great amenities.

Things to Do in Edgewater:

  • Sloan's Lake Park - Proximity to this fantastic park is the most appealing aspect to this small Colorado city.  Sloan's Lake Park is great from everyday standpoint.
  • US Thai - People drive from all over Denver to visit this Edgewater gem.  Their award-winning authentic Thai food deserves every accolade that comes its way.  Word to the wise: when they say Thai Hot, they mean it!
  • Joyride Brewing – This brewery has become quite a neighborhood staple since its grand opening in 2014.  The name Joyride refers to "slowing down and enjoying the moment instead of concentrating on the destination".  Something you can definitely do while enjoying a craft beer overlooking neighboring Sloan's Lake!
  • Edgewater Rec Center - Nestled in the center of Edgewater next to the city's library and police station, you'll find the small community Rec Center.  Don't be deceived by its size though, residents cannot say enough great things about the youth dance classes, Zumba and more.
  • Historic 25th Ave Business District -  Edgewater's historic district is small but it packs a big punch!  In addition to the brewery and Thai restaurant, you'll also find several more great restaurants, a coffee shop, a few salons, and even a bike shop. The city also hosts several events here throughout the year, like an Easter egg hunt, Farmer's Market, and a Holiday Lighting.
  • Edgewater Shopping Plaza -  Target, King Soopers, ACE and other popular stores are walkable from nearly all the homes in Edgewater.  A great asset, especially considering that the city still feels like a small town when you're in the heart of it.
